Lonsid Obtains Two New National Invention Patents (I)

The Qiaojing Filter System equipped on Lonsid's Loong Series is ingeniously engineered to solve the filter-replacement headache caused by cramped undersink cabinets.

Conventional water purifier filters are pulled out lengthwise for installation and removal, normally requiring a vertical operating clearance of over 20 cm. Beneath kitchen sinks, however, pipelines, angle valves and food waste disposers are tightly arranged, leaving barely enough reserved space. Complicated replacement procedures also prevent self-service maintenance. Many users even postpone filter changes accordingly, running the purifier with expired filter cartridges.


Lonsid's R&D team redesigned the filter mounting orientation and locking logic, giving birth to the Dual-stroke Filter Structure. Its core technology consists of four key design layers:

1. Space Redesign

The filter connector extends perpendicularly to the filter's longitudinal axis, and the cartridge slides into the filter housing sideways in achieve a 7-shaped side-mount design.

Only a displacement space equal to the filter diameter (around 10 cm) is required at maximum. Compared with the traditional longitudinal pull-out method, the required operating space is drastically reduced, so narrow cabinets are no longer an obstacle to filter replacement.

2. Linked Mechanical Motion

The locking mechanism and ejector are hinged via a linkage part. Unlocking and ejection are integrated into one assembly. When the latch pin is pulled out, the ejector pushes the filter cartridge with a delayed action, guaranteeing the latch pin can engage the slot during filter installation.

3. Streamlined Operation

A tension spring assembly applies constant force to the linkage component. For filter removal, users only need to lift the handle past the tipping point to finish the operation with one hand. To fit a new filter, simply push the cartridge into the housing; the filter body resets the ejection protrusion, and the elastic component automatically drives the latch pin into the slot to complete locking.

The whole process is summed up as Pull to remove, Push to install. No special tools or professional guidance are needed.

4. Secure Locking Performance

Once the latch pin slides into the filter slot, the cartridge is resistant to dislodgement even under water hammer shocks or external impact. Locking reliability has passed a 2,000-cycle durability test with zero recorded failures.


Combined together, these four technical innovations cut filter-maintenance effort down to one pull and one push. Lonsid devotes R&D efforts to practical, easily-overlooked user-experience details. This patented technology is now applied across the Lonsid Loong Series and Leadpure Series, bringing effortless maintenance to more consumers.
